Why Parent Coaching?
Parent coaching can be helpful for anybody in a caregiving position. It often includes a combination of psychoeducation and parenting strategies to improve the presenting concerns:
- Behavioral challenges
- Building self-esteem and confidence
- Academic challenges
- LGBTQIA+ support
- Acculturation stress
- Depression and suicidal ideation in teens
- ADHD and neurodivergent
- Family structure change (ie. new baby or blended family)
- Trauma and/or abuse
- Divorce or separation
