“My biggest passion lies in supporting parents and caregivers through my practice of parent coaching in Austin, Texas. In my opinion, it is among the most important work there is! Additionally, I love working with couples, children, teens, and young adults.”
Hi There and Welcome!
Are you currently searching for something in your life, but you can’t quite put your finger on it? If so, you have come to the right place and obviously stumbled across my name for a reason. Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself, with a partner, or for an adolescent or child, finding the “right” therapist is crucial. The relationship between therapist and client is THE most beneficial part of therapy. You deserve the best support possible. I am happy to offer a free phone consultation to assess whether we are a viable match. All you have to do is call me. Yes, it is that simple!
Since I could be learning a lot about you, I’d like to share a little bit about me. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in the state of Texas currently being supervised by Susan Gonzales, LPC-S, LMFT-S. I am originally from California and recently moved to Austin with my two children, partner and dogs. I was drawn to Austin because of its warm and welcoming community. I enjoy working with children and families, young adults, parents, couples and individuals who are seeking a therapist to support them in their journey towards peace, self-discovery and growth. I primarily utilize a cognitive behavioral (CBT) and client-centered approach. My area of speciality is in anxiety, ADHD, social skills development, self-compassion, self-advocacy, and I have a significant knowledge base with dyslexia and learning differences. In addition, I have first hand experience working with teachers and school administration. I recognize how instrumental family support is for children, including adult children. In addition, I am passionate about working with parents and caregivers because I also understand the complexities of such roles.
Lastly, I believe in the transformative power of therapy. It truly works! As your therapist, I will support you unconditionally as we both work together to discover your true and authentic self. Using a relational and loving approach, I seek to collaborate with my clients, offering insights and tools to help them make meaningful and transformational changes to enhance their quality of life. And who wouldn’t want that? So, I look forward to connecting with you soon.
