Founder and Clinical Supervisor

Born and raised in Austin, I knew at age 13 that I wanted to be a therapist. I earned a dual licensure in both professional counseling and marriage and family therapy so that I would be qualified to help individuals, couples, and families address a wide range of life issues.

Over the past 10 years in private practice, I have developed my clinical specialties to address the unique challenges of adult males, couples, and moms. My therapeutic approach is authentic, genuine, and open-minded. I use techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy and systems theory to help my clients identify thought processes and communication patterns that help or hinder their relationships. Ultimately I strive to help people build healthy relationships with themselves and others.

As my client, you will be able to set the goals for your therapy, and I am there to provide continual guidance and support along the way. I am passionate about my work and love what I do.

Wanting to change can be frustrating and bring up so much shame. I work with clients to explore what is preventing them from achieving their goals. Therapy is a safe place to work through unresolved feelings, learn how to lean on others, and feel confident in your ability to set limits in relationships.

I believe good therapy works with thoughts, emotions, and the body. If you have read body language, you have seen emotions and thoughts impact a person’s body, from posture and facial expressions to breathing, heart rate, gut feelings, and more. I use talk therapy to help clients communicate with the less logical parts of themselves. This is especially helpful when clients are under stress because big feelings don’t make people more reasonable. If you are doing your best and still feel stuck, come see me.

I see individual adults and couples only. Areas of specialized experience include grief, shame, and trauma, including medical trauma. I also help foster resilience in parents of disabled or nuerodivergent kids.

Do you need a safe place to work through a difficult relationship, painful experience, or one of life’s many challenging transitions? Do you feel yourself consumed with worry? Life doesn’t have to be so hard. I believe we are all doing the best we can with the resources we have, but sometimes we find ourselves in need of new material. As your therapist I will equip you with new skills and knowledge while creating a safe environment for you to work through your thoughts and feelings.

Hi, my name is Kimber. I am a LPC-Associate supervised by Susan Gonzales LPC-S, LMFT-S. I specialize in working with adults, particularly those living with anxiety. My therapeutic approach has been described as calming, grounded, and authentic. I take a nonjudgmental, honest, strength-based approach rooted in the knowledge that we all have the capacity to learn and grow throughout our lifespan.

As a counselor, I respect that seeking the help of a therapist takes an enormous amount of courage and is often difficult. Engaging in therapy, at its’ best, requires a willingness to explore the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that may be hindering some aspect of our existence. Through listening, being curious, and asking meaningful questions, I help you make sense of how your life’s experiences have impacted you. I often use humor to develop and strengthen the therapeutic relationship. I offer empathy and perspective to help you navigate the constant challenges and changes that come with being human. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and it is a privilege of mine to be able to walk alongside you through the journey of self-discovery.

Congratulations on your decision to take the first, difficult step on your journey of exploration, growth, and healing! I look forward to meeting with you!

At the core, humans are relational beings; the desire for safety and connection is innate. With this framework in mind, I utilize a strengths-based, trauma-informed, egalitarian approach to aid clients in moving toward emotional regulation and a positive view of self and others. I wholeheartedly believe that each person has a unique story to share; I aim to provide a safe space for clients to do so.

My therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I’ve had experience working with a variety of clinical concerns, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, developmental trauma, relational conflict, gender and multicultural issues, and life transitions. I primarily work with couples and adult individuals, utilizing a relational, multicultural, and affirming lens. I believe in the science of attachment and the power of relationships to foster healing and growth.

The therapeutic relationship is sacred and, according to research, a major factor in determining therapeutic outcomes. I look forward to building this relationship with you!

Whether you are a returning client, potential client, or someone entirely new, I want to say “Welcome! I am so glad that you have made it here.” Seeking therapy can be an uncomfortable process, so I applaud you for considering this initial step!

My name is Hannah Randol, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, under the supervision of Liz Lawrence, LPC-S. I adore working with clients to process their past, consider their present and plan for their future. While therapy is often deep and meaningful work, I also love to laugh with my clients. Therapy with me is also based on collaboration; meaning, therapist and client are working as a team to heal, process and grow. While I may have the training, you are your own expert!

I work primarily with adult individuals, couples, and groups. I have experience working with clients who struggle with ADHD, adjustment issues (new life transitions), anxiety, depression, communication and connection issues, conflict relationships, identity and purpose formation, panic disorders and past or present unhealthy relationships. Additionally, I provide structured, faith-based pre-engagement and pre-marital counseling, and “pre-baby” planning for expecting individuals and couples.
